Job Description
The Art Room Assistant at St Andrews Christian College plays a vital role in supporting the art department and contributing to the creative and artistic environment of the school. The position involves a range of responsibilities and tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the art department and support for students and staff. The main tasks of the Art Assistant include:
Assisting art teachers with preparation and organisation of art materials, supplies, and equipment
Helping maintain a clean, organised, and inspiring art environment
Assisting with the setup and takedown of art displays and exhibitions
Contributing to the development of visual arts projects and initiatives within the school community
The Art Assistant should have a passion for art, strong organisational skills, and an ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting students' artistic growth.
